This fruit cake is very delicious and it can be kept in a fridge up to 6 weeks
and it is all boiled in a saucepan.
12 oz Mixed Fruit
8 ox Sugar
4 oz Margarine
1 tsp Bicarabonate Soda put in after boiling
13 oz 1 Large tin of Crushes Pineapple
You can also put chopped cherries in and decorate with almonds on top.
Boil for 3 mins (simmer) leave to cool
Mix in 8oz S.R. Flour/pinch of salt/2eggs
Bake in 8' tin for about 1 hour or when you think it is cooked
195c temp electric cooker
do line the tin with parchment paper or greaseproof paper, do grease it well
