Thank you Jeanie for your input and one additional question: why would Pappas say two onions or four green onions and then list green onions seperately later in the recipe? Just interested in your thoughts. I will try adding the half bell pepper and both the onions and green onions to the pototo salad. My recipe calls for salad dressing which I have always read as miracle whip. Does your book say mayo or to add red wine vinegar to the potatos? Mine (13th ed.) mentions neither. thank you again.
