the restaurant was sold to a second cousin and others in 2002. However, according to a St. Pete Times article from Jan. 29th just a few days ago, it closed completely 4 months ago. It's now for sale and will probably be bought by a developer. I think all of Florida is being bought by developers! Thanks for alerting me.

I see the recipe on their web site calls for 5 lbs. potatoes where the others are 6 potatoes, which would probably be 1 1/2 to 2 lbs and does call for the green pepper. Restaurants come and go, but it had been there for about 75 years and in the new location for at least 25.
