Here is a recipe I use over and over to make home-made pizza. I think I originally got it from my bread machine's cookbook. It is very easy--it takes 1 1/2 hours in the bread machine and just minutes to prep. In fact, I sometimes make an extra batch of the dry ingredients and put in a plastic bag where I only need to add the wet ingredients.
Crust can also be frozen in a ball in plastic wrap in the freezer. Thaw overnight in the fridge.
BREAD MACHINE PIZZA CRUST
3/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp water 3/4 tsp salt 2 Tbsp olive oil 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2 tsp sugar 2 tsp active dry yest
Combine all ingredients in bread machine pan. Use dough setting to mix and rise.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Pat dough on pre-greased pizza pan. Let stand for 10 minutes.
Spread sauce and toppings over dough.
Bake 15-20 minutes until crust is golden brown.
Serves 4-8.
