My Mom used to make a three layered Christmas jello mold - plain green jello for the bottom layer, set up - then a middle layer of something white, then a top layer of red jello.
I don't remember if the middle layer was something like cream cheese/sour cream/chopped walnuts and lemon juice, or if it was actually another jello layer, using lemon jello with those other ingredients added - does anyone know that old-fashioned recipe?
