Gina, this is a dish that I've adopted from my husband's mother and it's a favorite at our house. (Sometimes I add whole kernel corn for extra veggies.) I never knew it actually had a name until I saw the recipe for "Slumgully" in the "White Trash Cookbook", but "New England Chop Suey" sounds much more appetizing!
