I made this dish several times now, but what I do differently is omit the green beans. I steam the beans separately at the end of the turkey cooking time as I find the beans to be way too mushy for my taste. I havent seen any changes to the cooking time, etc. by omitting this.

I baked "almost" bojangles biscuits and made cranberry tangerine relish to complete this meal. Wow do I love the crockpot!

Rosemary Chicken with Sweet Potatoes3 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
1 pkg (10 oz) frozen cut green beans
3 turkey thighs (about 3 lbs), skin removed
1 jar (12 oz) home style turkey gravy
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves, crumbled
1/8 tsp. pepper

Layer sweet potatoes, green beans, and turkey in a 3-1/2 qt. to 6 qt. crockpot. Mix remaining ingredients with a wisk until smooth; pour over mixture in cooker.

Cover and cook on low setting 8 - 10 hours or until juice of turkey is no longer pink when centers of thickest pieces are cut.

Remove turkey and vegetables from cooker, using slotted spoon. Stir sauce, serve with turkey and veggies.
