If my family had to choose a favorite
recipe, this is it. I make homemade sub buns
in my ABM and serve these on the buns with
the sauce. Try them for a potluck or with
rice. I made these for Christmas dinner
last year! They freeze well in individual
baggies for one sub. Great time saver.
Great appetizer for a party or shower.
Serve them with pretzels instead of toothpicks!

MAMAW'S SMOKY MEATBALLS

1 c. evaporated milk
3 lbs. hamburger
2 c. oatmeal
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped onion (chop very fine)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 T. Mexene chili powder (my favorite kind)
2 c. ketchup
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 T. liquid smoke (adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 c. very finely chopped onion
Combine milk, hamburger, oatmeal, eggs, onion,
1/2 tsp. garlic salt, and chili powder. Form
into meatballs. Place in two 13 by 9 inch
baking pans. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes
at 350. Drain. Place all the meatballs in
one pan. Combine ketchup, brown sugar, smoke,
1/2 tsp. garlic salt, and 1/2 c. onion in a
saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour over
meatballs. Return to oven and bake, uncovered,
for 20 to 30 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen

Try these! You'll love them. They are addictive.

EVERYBODY HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!
