Recipe(tried): SUNDAY DINNER AT OUR HOUSE

Misc.
Since today was Father's Day, we had some of my husband's favorite foods. We had: grilled steak (marinated overnight), roasted potatoes, Mama's Cream Corn Made Easy, green beans, watermelon, rutabagas, rolls, pickled beets, CLAUSSEN Pickles, sliced Vidalia onions, thinly sliced tomatoes, sweet tea with lemon, and birthday cake. (Saturday was my husband's birtday.)

MARINADE FOR STEAK

1 bottle Citrus Splash Salad Dressing (I used Oriental Orange)
2 T. soy sauce
1-2 T. honey
1-2 tsps. chopped garlic

Put these ingredients into a Zip-Loc Bag and mix thoroughly. Taste the marinade, if it's too "sharp," adda little honey. If it's too sweet, add a little soy sauce. Put the sirloin steak into the marinade and refrigerate overnight. When ready to cook the steak, remove the meat from the marinade and discard marinade. I cooked the steak using the Maverick Healthy Grill which I had sprayed with PAM. Grill until it is done to your liking. Great!
