Hi Susan,

So glad you like the Ginger Almond tea, it is refreshing and cool. It also has become a staple at our house epecially now that it is so hot and humid.Dessert Blend is a spice blend that I bought at Pier One a couple of years ago. If I had known how good it was going to be, I would have bought a few more jars. It is absolutely delicious and when I ran out, I went back to the store and found out they don't carry it anymore. Luckily, I had kept the very pretty jar it came in. The ingredients are:

Coriander
Cloves
Cinnamon
Sugar
Aniseed
fennel leaves
ginger

It's all grounded. I use 2 tablespoon of all the ingredients and ground it up a bit more in the coffee grounder and store it in a jar. It is a North American Spice Blend and used for seasoning cookies, pies, puddings, fruit, candy, hot tea, and chocolate, and custards.

I use it in lots of my baked goods and find the flavoring gives the baked goods a unique taste. I hope you enjoy making it as much as I do and using it too.

Happy Cooking! Gina
