Well the room has been painted and some estimates for the picket fence have come in. Soon everything will be back where it belongs.
Tonight's simple dinner will be shark steaks that have been marinated for 24 hours in mojo, Papas Brava, Mixed Steamed Veggies and Fresh Fruit Plate.

serves 2
2 shark steaks 1 1/2 c. mojo cuban marinade fresh pineapple slices
Marinade the steaks for 24 hours in a seal-proof container in the fridge. When ready to cook, put in a pan and surround with pineapple slices. Bake for 30 minutes. Baste occasionally.Papas Brava serves 4
3-4 potatoes, washed, peeled and sliced 3 T. olive oil salt and pepper to taste cayenne pepper to taste 1 med. onion, chopped 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped 1 T. parsley paprika
Saute onions, bell pepper and garlic in oil for 5 mts. Add potatoes and seasonings and toss to coat well. Adjust the cayenne pepper to your taste. Cover as the steam will tenderize the potatoes, at first cook over med. heat and as they cook, turn to low. |
