SHERRIED BEEF ROAST

Nesco Electric 6 qt roaster method!

3 to 4 lb Beef Roast: sirloin or tenderloin
4 T. BUTTER or MARGARINE
1/2 c. ONION , diced
4 T.SOY SAUCE
1 1/2 c. SHERRY
1/4 tsp GARLIC PEPPER
Turn roaster temp to 375 degrees.
Place onions and butter in roaster.
Bring roast to room temperature and place in Nesco.

Brown roast on all sides.
Turn temperature back to 325.
Add remaining ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste!
Roast at 375 degrees until desired degree of doneness. Serves 8.
You can thicken the juices with 3
T. flour mixed with 1/2 c. of water for a delicious gravy.

A three pound roast will take about 2 hours.

DELICIOUS!

If you do not have a Nesco you can brown the roast in a pan with
the butter and onions and then
roast in the oven uncovered for 2 hours at 325 or until done as you
prefer.
