Here are two recipes - one for a smaller loaf and one for a bit larger loaf. Both are tried & true.

Brioche - 1 lb loaf

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 eggs -- room temp 1/3 cup unsalted butter -- softened 1/4 cup milk 1 1/2 tbsp lukewarm water 1/2 tsp salt 2 cups bread flour 1 tbsp sugar 3/4 tsp breadmachine yeast
Place all ingredients in machine according to your manufacturers directions (mine uses the liquid first and yeast last). Set for basic white bread cycle, light crust.
