CHICKEN-MACARONI CASSEROLE
1-1/2 cups uncooked macaroni
1 can (10.75 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1-1/2 cups cut-up cooked chicken or turkey
1 cup shreeded Cheddar cheese (4 oz.)
1 can (4 oz.) mushroom stems and pieces
1 jar (2 oz.) chopped pimiento, drained
Mix macaroni (uncooked), soup, milk, salt and
curry powder in 2-quart casserole. Cover tightly
and microwave on high (100%) 3 minutes; stir.
Cover and microwave 3 minutes longer.
Stir chicken, cheese, mushrooms (with liquid)
and pimiento into macaroni. Cover tightly and
microwave on medium-high (70%) 8 minutes, stir.
Cover and microwave until hot and bubbly,
7 to 10 minutes longer. Let stand 5 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
