Recipe(tried): Spaghetti lover
MenusI absolutely love spaghetti and love to cook it. No one believes me that someone makes spaghetti out of a box. Kraft spaghetti, but I add my own ingredients to spice it up.
1 pound lean hamburger, browned
1 or two cans tomato soup
package of Kraft spaghetti and sauce mix
chilie powder to taste
1/4 c. chopped onion
sugar to taste
1/4 c green pepper
parmasean cheese to taste.
salt
pepper
I brown my meat, onions and green pepper and cook my noodles as the meat browns. Add mix from box and the rest of the ingredients. The sugar is added to take the "bite" off of the hamburger meat, as it has a raw taste to me. Silly huh. The parmesan cheese adds texture and flavor to the sauce and the tomato soup has a rich taste to it, rather than the thickness of the paste. I love to make this recipe and it is very easy. Our family serves it with corn, toasted bread, and coleslaw.
Finely shredded cabbage
dried with paper towels
sugar
salt pepper
vinegar
mayonnaise
All of the above is to taste, this is my mom's recipe so I cant be exact. She just does it by taste.
