Hi mafm ~ you could very easily make a grammy bear cake using the Wilton bear cake pan. I have used this pan many times... sometimes as bears, but also as a dog, or ghost, or cat. You can see a sample of ways to decorate the bear cake on http://www.wilton.com/bears/bear/viewentries0.htm

You will see that one of the samples on this site shows the bear decorated wearing a graduation cap. Very cute!

The only down side to this cake --- if there really is one --- is that you have to cut this cake starting by removing the head. If you start at the bottom, the cake can fall over. The first time we did this some of our guests were sad because the bear was so cute. After that, I cut off the top of the cake below the shoulders and put that part of the cake on the table beside the rest of the cake so the bear could enjoy the party with us for a while. Silly, yes!

The bear cake was one of my favorite to decorate. It brings such joy. Hope this helps. Kel
