We are planning my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary for the beginning of July. I am looking for a recipe for Groom's Cake. My paternal Grandmother made groom's cake for parent's wedding as well as mine (mine was in 1979), she has since passed away. It seems to me that it was a dense spice cake of some sort. I want to wrap individual pieces for guests to take home as they did at the original wedding. Any ideas? Thanks!
