I love this recipe because it can be served cold, hot, or room temperature, so it would be great for a picnic.
CHICKEN PENNE PICANTE
penne pasta (I can't remember if I use 8 or 16 oz.) cooked chicken (I usually use about 4 cups) 1 cup picante sauce 8 oz. cream cheese
Mix it all together, and you have a simple dish that is memorable.
If this doesn't suit your fancy, what about mixing pesto & pasta? I recently made a pistachio pesto that was wonderful. Of course, the basil pesto in the jar is great, too.
