MICROWAVE PEACH CRISP

2 cans (16 oz. each) sliced peaches, drained*
3/4 cup Bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Whipped cream or ice cream (optional, for serving)

Arrange peaches in an 8-inch square microwave-safe dish; set aside.

Mix remaining ingredients together until crumbly; sprinkle over peaches.

Microwave uncovered on high (100%) for 6 minutes; rotate dish 1/2 turn and continue microwaving, uncovered until peaches are tender 4 to 6 minutes longer.

Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.

*About 3 cups fresh peach slices may be substituted for the canned peaches (about 4 medium-size peaches, peeled).
