This is from a small cookbook that came with my Rival Crock-Pot, Rival Crock-Pot Slow Cooker Cookbook, copyright 1982. It doesn't have any mace, allspice or mustard in it, but since it had the word Easy in the recipe name and came from a Rival Crock-Pot cookbook, I thought I'd post it. Hope it helps.
EASY-DOES-IT SPAGHETTI
1 pound ground beef 2 Tablespoons dry minced onion 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning 1 (4-oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained 3 cups tomato juice 4 oz. dry spaghetti (1 1/2 cups_ broken in 4” to 5” pieces
Brown ground beef in skillet and place in crock-pot. Add all remaining ingredients except dry spaghetti; stir well.
Cover and cook on Low 6 to 8 hours. (High: 3 to 5 hours). Turn to High last hour and stir in dry spaghetti.
Serves 4
