I just received my Magic Bullet Yesterday. I think the hype they used on the infomercial is a little overdone, but it seems OK. Anyway, I tried the salsa recipe in the book, we did not care for it. I am going to try some different recipes for salsa with it. However, I made my son an omlet with green peppers and onion this morning and it mixed that quite well. I also made his favorite iced coffee with coffee, sugar, cream and I used crushed ice because yesterday I tried a smoothie - (from the book) The banana, strawberry smoothie and the bullet did not crush the ice very well at all. I think it will work out fine (as long as it holds up) and we did get a second one free because of the special, so we will hang onto it, Just in case the first one messes up. I am not quite ready to give away my blender, juicer and food processor yet, although I do think it will probably take the place of my food processor. Just wanted to add my comments. It is OK, not great, not horrible. Over-hyped - yes. It also says many times in the instruction book Not to run the motor continuously over a minute or the motor can be permanently damaged. I will be looking for some better recipes than what is included in the book.
