WELBILT ONE EGG BUTTERMILK WHITE BREAD

1 cup buttermilk (or sour milk), room temperature
1 egg
2 Tbsp oil
2 Tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
3 cup white flour (all purpose)

Put milk, oil, egg, and sugar into bottom of assembled Welbilt mixing/baking bowl. Sprinkle yeast over the top of the liquid and allow to sit for 10-15 minute.

Add flour into pan. Add salt on top of flour.

Plug in machine, select light color, hit start.

Check as the machine kneads the bread, the dough ball can have a tendency to stick to one side of the bowl, a sprinkle of flower or a touch of liquid will help it released and avoid producing lopsided loaf.

For a Welbilt AMM2H60 machine, adjust to your machine if necessary.

When the bell rings, pop the loaf out of the baking bowl, remove the mixing impeller, slice off a 1/2 end piece, slather with butter and eat. This is the taste test.

Wrapped in old fashion wax paper and put into a plastic bag, the bread will keep for about a week on the counter top, if your single.
Toasts up beautifully and is great for egg in a hole or Gas light eggs

GAS LIGHT EGGS
(egg in a hole with Tabasco sauce and Worcestershire sauce on the egg as it cooks)

Cut a slice of bread the width of your thumb, cut a hole in the center of the slice, butter both sides of the slice and the cutout, set low heat under iron skillet, put slice in and as it toast crack egg into hole, sprinkle egg with salt, pepper, Tabasco and Worcestershire to taste, flip to uncooked side and toast, serve.
