SAVORY ROASTED PEPPER BREAD

3/4 cup water
1/4 cup chopped roasted red bell peppers (from a jar)
1 tablespoon margarine or butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3 cups bread flour
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
2 teaspoons bread machine yeast

Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.

Select Basic/White cycle. Use Medium or Light crust color. Do not use delay cycles.

Remove baked bread from pan and cool on wire rack.

Makes one (1 1/2 pound) loaf
