SANGRIA SMOOTHIES

FOR THE GARNISH:
4 red grapes
1 orange slice, cut into quarters
FOR THE SMOOTHIES:
3/4 cup light fruity red wine, such as Beaujolais
1/3 cup lemon sorbet
1 cup red grapes, frozen
1 cup chopped fresh plums, frozen
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon frozen orange juice concentrate

TO ASSEMBLE THE GARNISH:
Thread 2 grapes and 2 orange quarters in alternating fashion on each of two 6-inch wooden or decorative skewers.

TO MAKE THE SMOOTHIES:
Combine the red wine and lemon sorbet in a blender. Add the grapes, plums, and orange juice concentrate. Blend until smooth. Pour into two 12-ounce wine glasses and garnish with the skewers.
