I haven't done this YET. I expect it will happen someday though. I've heard of it happening to others.
My friend did it to her dishwasher one day when she was busy and not thinking about it. She called the manufacturer and they told her to put fabric softener in it and run it thru. It did the trick.
I think we're going to have to start making notes for our family about our home appliances. We just got a new washer and dryer with so many settings, that I have to read the directions to do laundry!! I've been trying to make sure my son know all the little quirps for them because he does his own laundry sometimes.
I've been giving this alot of thought lately, with the boys going out on their own and needing to know how to run and take care of appliances. My oldest barrows my sweeper, and I wonder if he really knows how it works and how to use it!
Maybe we could put a book together, that explains these things for our family members! We could have it published! We could call it, ON YOUR OWN, HOW TO'S.
My goodness, it would have to be updated every year because of all the new inventions-gadgets, bells, whistles!
