I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for! I take my oven racks out of
the oven and put them out on the porch tied shut in a large garbage bag
.....inside I also set a cereal bowl with a cup or so of Household Amonia. i
leave it overnight ...or so. then I put old towels in the bottom of my bathtub
and place the oven racks on these and cover with hot dish soapy water. allow to
soak a short time then simply wipe the black STUFF away! if some is still stuck
on the racks allow to soak for awhile longer. TERRIFFIC way to clean oven racks
with no scrubbing! six
