Here is a really simple version
1 or 2 cans of pillsbury biscuits
vegetable oil for frying
sugar to coat them with
Heat oil on medium to medium high heat. Add biscuits 3-4 at a time, depending on the size of your pan. Turn when golden, remove when golden on both sides. Coat with sugar and enjoy. You can also make holes in the biscuit dough before you fry it to make it look more like a doughnut.
