I too tried this recipe and I agree they do not even favor the looks of the Great American Cookies and I think there is an ingredient missing. We have tried adding molasses and that does not work and I even went to the Cookie co and bought a few to sample with ours thinking they would at least taste the same No luck. Corn syrup is the next step but definately something is missing But they are still good!
