Here is the recipe verbatim-- right from the recipe card--you can half it--quarter it--whatever you choose for a 1 X batch
One pound butter--cut it up into pieces to melt easier let that melt down--then add ONE tablespoon chopped garlic
let that brown slightly
add---8 ounces of white sauce base (powder)
add 8 ounces of milk
add 2 quarts of heavy whipping cream one teaspoon black pepper 5 pounds of grated parmesan cheese
bring to 180--turn off heat--serve right away
get rid of that cream cheese mess- this IS the recipe. Cut it down how you like
