I have also had the cornbread at Smokey Bones and love it! I make it at home with 1 box of Jiffy Cornbread Mix and 1 box of Jiffy Yellow Cake Mix. Follow the directions on the package for each one and then mix them together. (I actually do it all in one bowl) I then bake it in two pie dishes. (I don't have the neat little skillets)
That's it. It is a little sweet and not grainy. I love to add dill weed, chilis, poppy seed or whatever I can find to spice it up. One time I used roasted red bell pepper that I had leftover. It was GREAT!
