My husband and I ate at Uno's the other night, and also tried the Shrimp and Crab Fondue, which was described as "addictive" by the waitress. Was she ever right! We didn't want to finish our meals after eating that!
I'm searching for the recipe as well, but the few listed in the responses don't seem quite right. If you go on Uno's website, and click on the nutritional information link, you can read the ingredients. I've included it at the bottom. FYI: After reading the ingredients on a box of cream cheese, the whey and cheese culture are listed. Mayonnaise includes the soybean oil, eggs, and vinegar. Spices are garlic, maybe Old Bay?
I make an Asiago dip that tastes very similar to this one, but the main base of it is sour cream and mayo. I'm going to try this without the sour cream, and substitute the heavy cream instead. Wish me luck, and if it's fabulous, I'll post it later!
