Source: Catholic Chronicle, Diocese of Toledo, some time ago

Soak overnight:
3 cups oats
about 6 cups milk
1 to 3 Tablespoons honey
1/2 to 3/4 cup raisins

The next morning add:
Fruit of the season - 1 to 3 cups each (unskinned fruit is okay)
1 to 3 Tablespoons orange rind
Decorate with nuts
