Here is the recipe for the GOOD Smokey Bones pecan butter.
1/2 cup pecans 1 pound of unsalted butter, softened 1/4 cup clover honey
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place pecans on a baking tray and place in oven approximately 5 to 8 minutes or until pecans are toasted. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature. Chop the cooled pecans.
Place pecans and butter in a mixer bowl and blend 3 to 5 minutes using spatula to scrape sides.
Turn mixer speed to low and add honey; continue mixing until all ingredients are well combined.
Place in serving dish or bowl and refrigerate until ready for use. |
