GARLIC MASHED POTATOES (like Pappadeaux)
6 to 8 medium potatoes, boiled until tender 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter or margarine 1/4 cup evaporated milk 2 to 3 tbsp garlic salt sliced chives (for garnish)
In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the above ingredients, and blend with electric mixer. Transfer to serving dish and sprinkle with a few chives to garnish.
