My grandmother made Tea Cakes often when I was a child. I have been trying to re-create that recipe unsuccessfully. I have tried every Tea Cake recipe in every cookbook I've come across. There is a restaurant in Knoxville (they used to have multiple locations) that make Tea Cakes exactly like my grandmother made but they don't give out the recipe. The name of that restaurant is Ham 'N Goody's. I would greatly appreciate a copy cat recipe so I can attempt to duplicate my grandmothers old recipe. Thanks for your help!!!!!!!! |
