I can certainly understand your angst for this yummy cake that is served at the Cheescake Factory. Guess what? Sam's sells it in their bakery in the refrigerated section. The box is even stamped Cheesecake Facotry. It doesn't get any easier than that...

First if all, the cake is a sponge cake not a yellow cake mix as posted, that takes time and effort...it's easier to just buy it for the 11.99 asking price instead of spending time in the kitchen trying to duplicate it.

I have bought it for holidays and for dinner parties and it is "to die for", a must have for all lemon lovers!
