I spent most of my childhood vacationing in Utica and upstate NY as my family is all from there. Half Moon Cookies were a BIG part of my life and were always such a treat! I ALWAYS ordered a couple of dozen to taket back on the plane with me to CA. I did this for many years until they closed. This weekend I am bringing dessert to a party and the host is from NY and I want to surprise him with this special dessert! So happy to have the recipe.
