I just made my version of rellenos tonight. Use egg roll wrappers to encase your cheese and chili's.
CHILI RELLENO
Egg roll wrappers
Colby Jack and Pepper cheese
green chili's
beaten egg
Lay out egg roll wrapper so it is diamond shape.
Place cheeses and chili's in corner of wrapper; roll up like an envelope, use the egg wash to seal the flap to the middle of your roll.
Deep fry in oil until browned.
I top mine with green chili sauce and sour cream. |
