Now I've never worked at L&L so I really don't have any idea what goes in to their macaroni salad, but after eating there numerous times, I went into my kitchen and tried to whip up a batch close to what I think it is. It didn't come out too bad. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

L&L HAWAIIAN BBQ MAC SALAD
(copycat recipe)

1/2 lb. large elbow macaroni, cooked al dente
1/2 carrot, finely shredded
1/2 to 1 (5 oz.) can Tyson Premium Chunk Chicken Breast
1 cup Best Foods mayonnaise

Cook up the macaroni, then rinse in cold water to stop cooking process; drain.

Using a fork, shred the chicken up in a bowl. Then rinse chicken in a strainer to remove excess salt and chicken taste. Mince the chicken and squeeze out remaining water.

Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.

Enjoy.

This is really just a variant of Filipino chicken salad, minus the pineapple, raisins, etc. It may need something more, but there is definitely some sort of meat in L&L's macaroni salad. Might be tuna, but I doubt it as it doesn't have a fishy taste.
