Being from Maryland, we grew up with Old Bay seasoning on everything. It is great to season your fried chicken flour with. I love it in macaroni and cheese and on my plain old cottage cheese. Of course, steamed or boiled shrimp doused in the seasoning is found in almost every seafood restaurant, but it's so easy to make at home (and you don't have to add a drop of fat to that recipe!). And many bars in Maryland rub the rim of the glass with lime and coat it with Old Bay before pouring in the Bloody Mary!
