Valentino's Pizza
Dough 1/2 c. water 1 pkg. yeast 1 tsp. sugar 1/3 c. water 2 T. olive oil 1 tsp. salt 2 c. flour
Mix water, yeast and sugar. Let stand for 2 minutes. Stir and let stand for 5 minutes more Add water, olive oil salt and flour. Mix and knead. Let stand and rise for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Sauce 8 oz. tomato sauce 8 oz. tomato paste 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/4 tsp. rosemary 1/4 tsp. oregano 1 clove garlic, chopped fine 1/4 tsp. caraway seed 1 bay leaf (optional)
Mix tomato sauce and paste in saucepan. Stir over medium heat. Add thyme,rosemary,oregano,garlic, carraway and bay leaf, if desired. Simmer and cool slightly. Divide dough and roll out 2 12" pizzas. Stretch dough to fit in the pans. On top of dough spread the meat, mushrooms sausage, whatever topping you desire. top with the sauce and then take
1/2 lb. shredded mozzarella 1/2 lb. shredded Monteray Jack and sprinkle on topping and sauce. Bake 450* for 12 to 15 minutes
