Recipe(tried): Chimichurri Sauce recipe for Mary

Hello, Mary - Chimichurri sauce is a delicious Arentinian addition to grilled and roasted meats. Here is a basic recipe, though I'm afraid I have no idea whether the restaurant you mention makes it differently.

Chimichurri
Makes about 1-1/2 cups

1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup finely chopped white onion
1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh flat-leafed parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

In a bowl, combine the oil and vinegar, and beat them together with a whisk. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Allow to stand at room temperature for 2 or 3 hours to let the flavor develop before serving.
