Sesame Seared Salmon

1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon olive oil
3/4 pound salmon fillets
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon chopped fresh ginger or 1/4 tsp. ground
ginger
Place sesame seeds in a nonstick skillet and saute until golden, about 30 seconds. Remove to a plate and set aside. Heat olive oile in the same skillet on med-high. Add salmon and saure 5 min. Meanwhile, mix honey, soy sauce, and ginger together. Turn salmon; saute 3 min. for a 1" thick piece. Remove skillet from heat, spoon sauce over salmon and allow to warm in skillet 30 seconds. Remove to individual dishes and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Serve with Sauteed Sliced Potatoes With Asparagus and red, fruity pinot noir.

Sauteed Sliced Potatoes With Asparagus

3/4 pound small red potatoes
2 cups fat-free, low-sodium chicken broth
1/2 pound fresh asparagus
2 teaspoons olive oil
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Wash potatoes. but do not peel. Thinly slice potatoes and place in a large saucepan. Add broth and cover the pan. Bring to a simmer and cook, covered, 10 min. Trim woody stems of asparagus about 1" from bottom; wash asparagus. Cut asparagus into 2" pieces; add to potatoes, cover and continue to simmer 5 min. Spoon potatoes and asparagus onto individual plates. Sprinkle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
