FRIED SCALLOPS

INGREDIENTS
1/2 lb fresh Sea Scallops.
1 tbls flour
salt
pepper
oil for frying

TOOLS
skillet
plastic or paper bag

DIRECTIONS
heat 1/2" or more or oil or shortening in pan (300-350)
put flour, salt & pepper in a plastic or paper bag.
shake scallops in it to coat evenly and shake off excess
fry scallops on each side about 1 minute or until lightly golden.

serve with tartar sauce
1 tbls mayonaise 1/2 tsp pickle relish
