Hi nancy,

I buy only ground sirloin and form them into 1/4 lb. patties that are not too fat. I do not season at all until they are ready to go on the grill, then I sprinkle garlic-salt over each side and grill. Perfect burgers should only be flipped once. First you brown one side, then you flip over, this way they remain juicy and tender. We grill a lot in the summer for friends and everybody loves the burgers. Of course, you can put cheese on them also.

Now I am lucky because Publix, the local grocery store here, sells the 1/4 lb. sirloin burgers in packages of 4. Life is easier. You can ask your butcher to also prepare them for you.

Happy Burger Flipping! Gina
