Quick and Easy Peach Cobbler (with modifications)
1 large can peaches in syrup or fresh if in season, drained (or fresh peaches, sliced)
1 cup sugar (less sugar if desired)
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup milk
1 stick (1/2 cup) melted butter
Pour peaches (undrained) in 2 1/2 quart casserole dish.
In seperate bowl combine sugar, flour, milk, and melted butter..mix well and pour over your peaches. Dust top with cinnanon.
Bake 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
This recipe won first place for me at our national fair in Oct. 2001. ENJOY..CHEF BETTY

I love this peach cobbler recipe.. was a hit the three times I made it... I used self-rising flour which may be important... and I totally drained the peaches or used fresh peaches which may also be important... lastly, I may have reduced the sugar a bit...(in a moment of waistline consciousness)
