For years now I have been freezing my whole corn on the cob in brown paper bags. Guess it is probably exactly like the black plastic bags, only I was told by a lady that had done it for years. She said definately brown paper bags. I just take off the outer hard leaves and put it side by side in the bag up to about 3 - 4 layers. Fold it up and I usually tape it shut. It has been good even just before the next season. This same lady said definately NOT to blanch.....Hope this helps... |
