I have a glass top stove. Look at the bottom of the canner. If it has a flat bottom, it should be okay for glass -- most don't have flat bottoms. I use a large stock pot and put canning screw bands in the bottom to keep the jars up off the bottom of the pot. It works fine. Luckily my pressure canner has a flat bottom. Hope this helps. Pat
