Hi Jlmx,

I checked with the nice folks at Betty Crocker regarding using their Gingerbread Mix for making gingerbread houses and yes, it can be done! Here are the basic instructions:

Preheat oven to 375F.

Mix the gingerbread dough following the Gingerbread Cookie recipe on the back of the box.

Roll dough 1/8-inch thick and cut out pieces as your house diagram requires. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Baking time may vary depending on size (3-4-inches pieces will take about 8 minutes).

This doesn't call for flour as you mentioned, but maybe you can experiment with it until the other recipe is found.
