Hi, I love to bake and want to make a particular cookie but can't seem to find the recipe. I tasted this cookie in a collection of Christmas cookies made by the ladies of a church at their craft/bake sale a few years agp. No one was able to put me in touch with the baker and they haven't had them at the fair since. This was a ball cookie and had what I would describe as a moist, buttery flavor with possibly very finely ground nuts. I am also interested in Old fashioned Christmas cookies made with shortening ( crisco). Any help would be appreciated. I've tried many recipes in the hopes of duplicating this cookie,but haven't found it yet.
